Venue
The Gene Forum 2009 will be held on June 12-13th, in Dorpat Conference Centre in Tartu, Estonia.
Conference Language
The official conference language is English.
Registration
May 31th, deadline for early-bird registration.
June 6th, deadline for registration to the conference.
In order to register to the Gene Forum 2009, please complete the registration form. The registrations can be made:
A letter of confirmation including complete registration details will be sent to all participants by the Conference Secretariat.
Participation fee
Conference fee includes full attendance, exhibition, conference materials, coffee/tea breaks, lunches and Buffet Dinner (June 12th). Conference rates:

by credit card - Conference Secretariat will contact you to ensure authorization and safe credit card transaction.
After receiving your registration a written confirmation including the payment details will be sent to you by the Conference Secretariat.

Accommodation
Hotel Dorpat, connected comfortably with Conference Centre, has been booked for conference participants. Also Hotel London and Hotel Antonius, located both in 7-8 minutes walking distance from the conference venue have been booked. As an alternative, you can stay at hotel Pallas or at hotel Tartu, located in 3-4 minutes walking distance from the venue. Hotel rooms can be reserved through the Conference Secretariat upon the submission of completed registration form. A written confirmation of the reservation will be sent to you by the Secretariat. In case you prefer some other hotel or room type than indicated on the registration form please ask the Conference Secretariat for quotation. The reservations will be made on "first come, first served" principle. For late registrations accommodation cannot be guaranteed. The special conference price is valid only if the hotel room is reserved and paid in advance through the Conference Secretariat.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
If you will be unable to attend, you can make substitutions at no extra charge. All the substitutions must be made in written to the Conference Secretariat prior the conference. Refunds will be made less a handling charge (25 EUR) for cancellations received in writing prior June 6th, 2009. No refunds will be made after that date.
Travel Information
Visas to enter Estonia are not required from citizens of USA, EU and most European countries, including all Scandinavian countries. For detailed information, please visit the website of the Estonian ministry of Foreign Affairs: www.vm.ee. The closest airport is located in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Direct flights to Tallinn are available from Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris, London Gatwick and several other cities in Europe. The distance between Tartu and Tallinn is 186 km.
